We invite you to join our Education Committee

Education Committee of ISM—New Jersey, Inc. invites you to join us in building the chapter’s student members, expanding the Emerging Professional Group and shape the chapter's future. An hour to three-hours per month will make this effort a success, and there are many areas to choose from.

List of Committee Opportunities

• Contact regional universities with business schools and supply chain programs to set up presentations on the Supply Management career path, ISM—NJ student membership, and the Emerging Professional Group membership for college undergraduate and graduate seniors. This activity focuses on scheduling presentations and does not include the actual delivery of presentations.

• Meet students onsite at the various colleges  and present the ISM—NJ powerpoint, answer any questions, share experiences in supply management, and enroll student members.
• Welcome student members at our membership meetings, introduce them to members, sit with them, or seat them with ISM members. 
• Send out monthly educational committee invitations to student members.
• Reach out to prior student members who have graduated to encourage them to continue their participation in ISM—NJ with the reduced Emerging Professional membership.
• Attend as a committee representative at other events  offered by the universities that would provide student  interactions as these opportunities arise.
• Become a mentor to our student members.
